Yamaha XT 660 R/X K&N air box Stage 3 (DNA stage 3) Dyno tested

This is a 3D printed airbox for Yamaha XT 660 R/X models inspired by DNA stage 3 airbox. It is a direct replacement for the original airbox. As a main air filter is used original K&N cone air filter which allows the engine to breathe better.

The engine has more torque at lower RPM and there is also significant improve in sound. This stage 3 airbox was tested on a dyno against DNA stage 1 and stage 2. Without changing the fuel map, the bike gained 2,4 hp and 2,3 Nm. With proper tune, the gain can be even bigger.

It is possible to fit a cover from the original airbox onto the stage 3 airbox. After that, the stage 3 airbox isn't almost visible. Step by step installation guide included. See also my other items for XT 660 mods.
