This professional audio snake uses 25AWG conductors and features 12 downstream and 4 upstream connections. The heavy duty stage box measures 12" x 7 1/8" x 3, has 12 female and 4 male XLR connectors, a metal mesh strain relief boot, and a metal bale to prevent stress on the individual connectors. It has a convenient handle on one end and includes mounting holes so it can be secured to a wall or floor position.
The XLR connectors have metal bodies with plastic sleeves and rubber strain relief boots. The 12 downstream connectors have black plastic rings with white numbers (1-12) and the upstream connectors have blue plastic rings with white letters (A-D). Additionally, the jacket of each cable is labeled with a number every inch or so, making it easy to trace lines and troubleshoot. The female connectors have a locking latch, while the female ports on the stage box have locking latch release levers.
